Creek cadets lend a helping hand.
Clear Creek High School JROTC cadets successfully completed much needed repairs at the home of a less fortunate family in Bacliff.
Battalion Commander Kevin Grier spearheaded “Operation Community Aid” which included about twenty JROTC cadets divided into three teams doing yard work, painting, demolition, and minor construction.
The needy family was located by Special Projects Manager, Liz DeLeon with Interfaith Caring Ministries, and materials and professional assistance were provided by HNI Services, a local residential remodeling company.
The cadets said afterwards they were happy to volunteer their time and make a difference in the lives of someone less fortunate.
